T-shirts, T-shirts, T-shirts!

I am obsessed with t-shirt with logos.  My obsession started  3 years when I was in Friday Harbour on a hot July day and I stopped into Daisy Bloom.  Daisy Bloom is the one of my favorite boutiques and I only get to go there once a year.  I stumbled across it on my first trip to Friday Harbour on San Juan island. The owner is super lovely, charming and very helpful.  She also brings in some of my favorite US lines such Free people, Chaser, Michael Stars just to name a few. I’m pretty sure she used to be a buyer at Nordstrom which would explain why I Iove her store so much.   I have a few rules when I boutique shop in the States… support the US economy and purchase items that are manufactured in the US. It makes me feel like I’m doing my part… just like my theory on drinking California wine but I could do a whole other post on that.  Ever since that first day I purchased my Rebel Yell logo t-shirt at Daisy bloom I have been addicted.  There’s nothing more comforting on a weekend than slipping into a super soft  t-shirt and my favorite pair of jeans.  Currently my fave is a grey Chaser with an easy rider logo on the front that I got at Suasion here in Victoria. Chaser is a brand  from LA that originated with the LA punk rock scene and their philosophy  is: “ The garment better be luxuriously soft. When our customer wakes up in the morning we want Chaser to be the garment they wear, not the one they have to. If their job requires a suit, the moment our cutomer gets home they tear it off and put on their favorite Chaser”  That is exactly how this t-shirt makes me feel.   The neck and hem are both distressed and the back has small scoop which adds just a little bit of sexy to it. The 100% cotton is so soft it feels like it's been washed a thousand times. Definitely a go to piece for me.
